Would you enjoy working in an International School in an attractive new building with excellent facilities? Would you enjoy rising to the challenge of working within a growing school and responding to the changes this necessitates? Would you enjoy being a part of a team and contributing to the development of a high quality environment for our Pre-School pupils? Then you could be the key practitioner we need.

Our pupils are from all over the world and are educated in English. The Pre-School is a vibrant and growing area. The International school is growing to meet the increased demand for places for pupils who need to be educated in English. We have recently moved into new premises and have expanded our pre-school provision. Our team now has a place for a very key practitioner who will work to develop our provision for 1 to 6 year olds, with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy.

The applicant will:

• complete all documentation in English
• communicate effectively with school staff, parents, kommun professionals etc.
• plan lessons
• assess and record progress
• undertake duties as required in a preschool (for example meal times, outdoor play, washing, drying clothes etc.)
• plan and manage IDP meetings with parents- attend school meetings (as required)
• be responible for all health and safety procedures (especially the calm, effective management of children during building evacuation)

KVALIFIKATIONER
The preschool needs staff who are qualified. The qualifications may be in childcare and can be Swedish or international qualifications or they may be higher level qualifications (can be international, degree or other higher level recognised qualification). We are able to take into account previous experience and work, and this enables us to evaluate the combination of education and work or other experinces in relation to the role in preschool. The candidate must have excellent spoken and written English.The successful applicant will:- be a flexible, effective communicator- be a team player who enjoys working with a changing rota and the challanges of responding to the changes required when new pupils arrive and old pupils leave.- enjoy change in the workplace and see this as a way of maintaining a high quility preschool as it continues to grow.- be able to think independantly, as the need arises, and make wise decisions when liasing with parents, other staff and professionals.- have a high level of spoken and written English- be especially interested in teaching English to pupils who arrive with little or no English skills
